Total renovation of a maisonette in Sounion, Attica.
The extensive renovation of the residence was completed with the aim of a comprehensive redesign and the upgrading of both the interior and exterior spaces. The project included the removal of all floor finishes and internal and external window and door frames, the complete reconfiguration of the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as selective demolition works to enable the new spatial organization of the residence. Through the redesign of the floor plan, spaces were created with improved functionality, flow, and a contemporary architectural identity.
Particular emphasis was also placed on the design of the outdoor area, where landscape architectural interventions, new paving works, a reorganization of outdoor functions, and an overall redevelopment of the plot were carried out. The composition was completed with the construction of a swimming pool, as well as the creation of an outdoor living area featuring a seating zone, outdoor kitchen, and dining area, forming a unified living space that extends organically into the exterior environment.
The design approach focused on the integration of architecture, functionality, and landscape design, aiming to create a fully coherent residence where interior and exterior spaces operate as a unified living experience.
